Ski Fleece, Soft Shell, Midlayer, this is a part of your ski outfit that often gets overlooked but it is pretty important and is also a great layer for apres ski, when it’s too warm to sit in your ski jacket but still too chilly for just a base layer.

Fleece, jumpers and jersey are a good idea for that extra layer of insulation but also for stripping down to when the sun is out on the slopes or you have worked up a sweat. A decent skiing fleece or soft shell is going to continue to protect you from the elements but not stifle you.
