ski brandsThere is a lot of choice when it comes to quality ski wear which is great if you like to look original and stylish on the slopes.

It would take us years to list all of our favourite brands but we have done our best to bring you the labels that we think reflect the best prices and the best garment barnds on the market in terms of endurance, fit and performance on the snow. We like our skiwear to look good too.

Dare2b has long been one of our favourite brands for ski clothing and their website reflects what they’re all about. Stylish, great colours for the slopes and loads of choice, this label is a must see for looking cool on the piste. This year their muted mountain colours are floating our boat, alongside the brighter purple salopettes, turquoise fleeces and multi coloured accessories.

Great colours – muted silvers and blues mixed with splashes of vibrant eye catching pinks, turquoises and purples. Their baselayers are super stylish and are made from advanced nylon/elastane synthetic yarns and have odour control.

This is a great label for women, men and kids. Expect to pay around £100 for a ski jacket, £50.00 for adult salopettes and from £20.00 for adult fleeces.

Accessories include socks, gloves and hats (no goggles or helmets). Hats retail at around £10 and gloves are from £25.

Columbia have stylish skiwear and innovative accessories. Last season they brought us a high-performance winter boot with a built in heating system and this year they bring us the same but higher cut – kicking the cold right in the jacksey!

Columbia clothes are quite traditional and come in good solid colours that are easy to match. We particularly like their Interchange jackets – is it a ski jacket, is it a fleece? No it’s both! Perfect!

Trespass

Trespass has long been a trustworthy ski wear brand. For clothing, accessories and kids wear, this is a brand that offers top notch quality for good family prices.

We particularly love Trespass’ range of boots which start at just £19.99 for kids and £29.99 for adults which is a really good price for quality footwear that keeps you warm and dry.

Outdoor Megastoreand Wildday both offer huge selections of Trespass ski wear which is great as these two websites also offer huge sales and discounts. This year, Wildday have Trespass fleece jackets for as little as £7.50 and salopettes at £15.00. Bargains!

This year Helly Hansen offer a new flow down technology which is able to keep you warm, dry or cool dependent on the conditions and has a stretch component to keep you flexible.

Five Seasons

Five Seasons is a quality family skiwear brand that opts for great colours, good styles and technical winter attire. Hailing from Sweden, Five Seasons is a go to brand for ski clothing as they have such good value pieces and a broad selection. We love the designs Five use, very European (they know their winter weather in Sweden!) very understated but very chic and cutting edge.

For women, expect to pay around £60.00 for a really good looking jacket and £30 for ski pants and salopettes. Menswear is in a similar price range.

For accessories, Five has some great deals, youc an pick up a really good looking hat for about £5.

Bolle are a great accessories ski brand. Their goggles and helmets come highly recommended and look good as well as offer exceptional protection.

Bolle ski goggles are highly regarded as the finest skiing goggles available. Some models feature the modulator lens offering state of the art, high contrast, light sensitive lens that changes lens tint density with the changing light conditions.

The quality with North Face is top notch as the label prides itself on its technical innovation. We love the ski jackets that can literally fold down and fit in your pocket – yup, it’s always been hard to travel light for skiing but not anymore!
